The season may be lost for Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies after a 28-25 loss to the Penn State Nittany Lions, but there are still three weeks to play, two of which will come against teams ranked inside the US LBM Coaches Poll.
The first will be Curt Cignetti and the No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers, who dropped two spots despite being idle in Week 10, on November 21. By the time UW returns home for that game, it will have been over a year since Fisch's last win in Big Ten play at Husky Stadium.
Then, to end the season, the Huskies will travel south to face their arch rivals in the Oregon Ducks, who vaulted up 12 spots to No. 19 after a 41-28 win on the road over the Ohio State Buckeyes, who plummeted down to No. 20 with their third loss of the season.
Elsewhere, two of Fisch's other losses rose in the poll.
Also idle ahead of their matchup with the Hoosiers, the USC Trojans got bumped three spots to No. 14, while the Iowa Hawkeyes got a five-spot increase to No. 15 following a 24-10 win over the Northwestern Wildcats, which knocked them out of the rankings.
Here's how the rest of the top 25 shaped up.
