In a 30-24 win for the Chicago Bears over the New England Patriots, former Washington Huskies star wide receiver had some highs and lows.
Early in the contest, the former No. 9 overall pick was called for offensive pass interference as he let what would have been a 13-yard touchdown slip through his fingers. However, when it came down to crunch time, Odunze proved to be a reliable target for quarterback Caleb Williams.
As he finished his day with 4 catches for 69 yards, the majority of his production came on Chicago's final scoring drive, where he hauled in a pair of 21-yard receptions across three plays, the first of which was a high-difficulty play on third-and-9, as he had to reach back across his body to pull in the pass.

"I mean, people were saying the catch was crazy," Odunze said after the game. "I mean, it just felt like I needed to make a catch. And I made the catch."
"That was kind of me coming back to life there," he added. "I missed a play earlier in the game, so my mindset is just shake back, and that's exactly what I did. For me, I'm always going to shake back, and that was my opportunity to do so. (Caleb) made a great play, and I was able to make a great play as well."
Odunze also recovered New England's onside kick attempt in the final minute of the contest to seal the victory, as the Bears moved to 5-2 with the win. On the year, the former Washington star has pulled in 24 catches for 381 yards.
