Former Washington Huskies star wide receiver Denzel Boston has gotten off to a red-hot start in his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns.
The second-round pick in April's draft leads the NFL with 20.6 yards per reception, while his 330 yards and 3 touchdowns are the best among all rookies. Boston has tallied 16 catches through the first five games of the year and has been a big part of the Browns starting the season at 3-2, which has them tied for second place in the AFC North.
However, after pulling in 3 catches for 46 yards and a touchdown against the New York Jets, Boston popped up on Cleveland's injury report on Wednesday with a foot issue.

The 6-foot-4 pass catcher was still able to practice in a limited capacity, which is a good sign for his availability on Sunday when the Browns take on the Baltimore Ravens.
Throughout the year, Boston has made an early impression on the NFL, displaying why he was such a key piece of Jedd Fisch's offense in the head coach's first two seasons on Montlake.
"Not making things too big, just keeping the main thing the main thing," Boston said of his poise and early success. "And also just understanding the camaraderie that we built around the building, having the trust that he's going to go make that play or he's going to go make that play. I think it just comes from a great locker room, a brotherhood, and an understanding of everyone's here for their purpose and everyone's going to fulfill their purpose when the time comes."
