With running back R.J. Harvey injured, the Denver Broncos asked former Washington Huskies star Jonah Coleman to step into a bigger role, and in just his second NFL game, the fourth-round pick delivered.
At the 7:24 mark of the fourth quarter, Coleman walked into the end zone from 3 yards out to break a 13-13 tie for the first touchdown of his pro career, which eventually became the game-winner in a 20-13 victory for the Broncos over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Coleman led the Broncos with 39 rushing yards, while he tied for the team-high with 10 carries, and added 3 receptions for 19 yards, showing off the complete skill set that he learned from running backs coach Scottie Graham and the rest of Jedd Fisch's coaching staff.

"You shine, we shine, we shine together," Coleman told Broncos team reporter Aric DiLalla of advice from Graham that he carries with him.
"That's what it's all about: Getting that W. No matter how we get it, it's about winning at the end of the day. Everyone in the running back room wants to win. That's why we come every day competing. That's why we're pushing each other. That's why J.K. comes and gets on me about the smallest little details, because he wants to win."
In his first extended NFL action, Coleman seemed to provide the spark that coach Sean Payton was looking for from his rushing attack, and if Harvey has to miss some more time, he could prove to be an integral piece of Denver's offense moving forward.
