Since former Washington Huskies starting cornerback Tacario Davis was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, he's done nothing but turn heads.
That includes his teammate, superstar wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase.
On an episode of Chase's Chasing No. 1 podcast, the six-year NFL veteran receiver praised the ex-Husky defensive back for his ability to make an early impact for the Bengals.
"Our back end guys is coming together, too, man. I can't wait to see how they are going to do with our young guy Bobo," Chase said. "He almost had a pick. He's damn near 6-4. Same height as Tee (Higgins). I remember seeing him make plays in practice and he's jumping, and his feet was over people's heads."

cornerback turned Huskies starter in 2025 made his regular-season debut in the Bengals' 33-27 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week One and recorded a tackle. Davis played four defensive snaps and eight special teams snaps in his first real NFL game, but that number is expected to continue to rise as the rookie continues to get his feet wet.
In Cincinnati's final preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the 6-foot-4 defender recorded his first interception off a tipped pass from Tanner McKee with just over 11 minutes remaining in the second quarter. His pick turned into a third and final field goal for the Bengals in the game to lead 9-0 in the first half.
Davis nearly made his first regular-season snap a historic one with an interception off quarterback Baker Mayfield on a pass intended for Emeka Egbuka, though he was flagged for defensive pass interference, which negated the turnover.
