Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies hold a commitment from one of the nation's top quarterbacks in the 2027 class, four-star Blake Roskopf.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound product of Desert Edge High School in Arizona, who is ranked as the No. 102 overall prospect and No. 8 quarterback in the 2027 class by Rivals, earned an invitation to the Navy All-American Bowl over the weekend.
Through six games in his senior year, Roskopf has completed 57.9 percent of his passes for 1,748 yards (an average of 18.4 yards per completion) with 18 touchdowns and 6 interceptions, while showing a strong connection with another UW commit, three-star wide receiver Zerek Sidney.

"Big-framed distributor who gets the ball out accurately to multiple levels," 247Sports' Gabe Brooks wrote in Roskopf's evaluation.
"Does not require a load-up to push the ball, likely a result of size and natural strength...Exhibits encouraging velocity, but also has shown touch nuance when attacking the deeper third...Not a dual-threat in the traditional sense, but possesses enough functional mobility to break the pocket and make throws on the move."
The Huskies had four commits selected as All-Americans in 2026, with offensive tackle Kodi Greene, defensive tackle T.I. Umu-Cais, edge rusher J.D. Hill, and wide receiver Jordan Clay (who earned Offensive Player of the Year honors) all included in the festivities in San Antonio, Texas. Five-star punter Nolan Balke is the other member of Washington's 2027 class who has earned an invitation to participate in the contest.
