For most Americans, a trip to London means a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. Not for NFL teams, at least during the regular season. This Sunday, London hosts its first of three NFL games this season as the Washington Commanders face the Indianapolis Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Commanders picked up their first win of the season on Sunday, upsetting the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks 33-31. To try to make this week as normal as possible, Washington flew to London on Tuesday and began its normal week of practice on Wednesday.
Several players spoke to the media on Wednesday, including second-year running back Jacory “Bill” Croskey-Merritt.
So, does Bill plan to make the most of his time in London this week?
“Not really,” Croskey-Merritt
said when asked if he had any big plans ahead of this Sunday’s game. "Just wanna win. Win and go home. That’s about it.”

That’s music to the ears of head coach Dan Quinn. At 1-2, Washington got its season back on track with Sunday's upset win over the Seahawks. With a win over the Colts, the Commanders could improve to 2-2 before returning home to face the New York Giants in Week 5.
