The Washington Commanders face the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in Week 6 action on Monday Night Football. The Commanders made several roster moves ahead of Monday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline, activating three players from injured reserve. Washington activated cornerback Trey Amos, running back Jeremy McNichols and linebacker Jordan Magee. All three will play against the 49ers.
The Commanders also placed starting running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt and backup outside linebacker Javontae Jean-Baptiste on injured reserve, meaning both players will miss at least four games.
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who was questionable with a hamstring injury, is active and will play for the Commanders, meaning both Diggs and Terry McLaurin will be back on the field
together. Safety Nick Cross returns after missing the past three games with what head coach Dan Quinn initially called an internal injury, but the injury report listed it as an illness.
In some big news for the 49ers, star wide receiver Mike Evans is active and will play. Defensive end Joey Bosa headlines San Francisco’s inactive list, but he was already ruled out with an injury.
Here is Washington’s complete list of Week 6 inactives:
- QB Marcus Mariota
- DE Charles Omenihu
- CB Fabian Moreau
- CB Isaac Yiadom
- DE T.J. Maguranyanga
- G Tanoa Togiai
