Saturday marked the start of "Back Together Weekend" around the NFL, when all 32 teams have fans in attendance and host various events and contests for fans, especially kids. The Washington Commanders opened Day 3 of training camp in Ashburn with legends John Riggins and Darrell Green in attendance.
Head coach Dan Quinn kicked off the day with some injury updates. Tight end John Bates is dealing with a strained hamstring that will keep him out for a "couple of weeks."
In some good news on the injury front, wide receiver Treylon Burks (foot) was back on the field after missing Thursday's practice.
As for what happened on the field, it was a good day for quarterback Jayden Daniels. The third-year passer made several impressive throws and continues
to look more comfortable in new offensive coordinator David Blough's scheme with each passing day.
