Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin appeared to suffer a left knee injury and was carted off the field in the first quarter of Washington’s Monday night matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
He was officially ruled out at the beginning of the second quarter with a knee injury. On the Commanders' second drive of the game, McLaurin collapsed while running a route on third down and nine towards Washington’s sideline. He clutched at his left knee as he hit the ground and hobbled into the cart on his own after the Commanders’ medical staff secured a brace on his injured leg.

He tacked on a 27-yard reception on Washington’s first play of the game before being forced to leave the game. That reception helped lead to Washington’s first points of the evening – a 51-yard field goal for Drew Stevens.
