The Washington Commanders left their Virginia team facility on Tuesday to prepare for Sunday’s Week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Traveling early gave the Commanders the best chance to get on a normal schedule ahead of Week 4.
While Washington coaches and players have been in London most of the week, several fans took the trip as an opportunity for an international vacation. It was also an opportunity for British fans who love the Commanders to see their favorite team.
On Saturday, Commanders fans held a rally at BrewDog Waterloo in London, with approximately 3,000 Washington fans in attendance. Others were there, too, including team president Mark Clouse and Josh Harris.
From the videos and pictures,
everyone seemed to have a good time. Harris even climbed onto a bar, spoke to the fans, and bought them a beer. Mitchell Tischler of Monumental Sports and the Beltway Football podcast captured the following video.

Harris wasn’t done buying beers for Washington fans. According to John Keim of ESPN, about 90 minutes later, Clouse spoke to the crowd and delivered the following message.
“What the heck, we’re spending money,” Clouse told the crowd. “Let’s open the tab again. More free beer for everybody. Another round on Josh.”
Fortunately, we have video of that, too, courtesy of Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic.

It was a good day for everyone involved. Harris and Clouse spent time with fans and took pictures with them.
We aren’t sure whether Colts fans held a similar rally, but there appeared to be very few at BrewDog. You would think that the Commanders were the home team. Well, actually, they are considered the home team.
Will Tottenham Hotspur Stadium be full of Commanders fans on Sunday?
As for Harris, this isn’t the first time he’s bought a round or two for Washington fans.
