It was Croskey-Merritt's second touchdown run of the season, and the first since Washington's 24-22 season-opening loss to divisional rival Philadelphia.
Washington holds a nine-point lead because kicker Drew Stevens missed the extra-point attempt, but has made two field goals since. New York attempted two field goals in the first quarter, with kicker Dominic Zvada missing the first but making the second from 51 yards out.
