The Washington Commanders revealed their inactive list for Sunday’s Week 2 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Two injured starters headline Washington’s list.
- LB Frankie Luvu
- TE Chig Okonkwo
- QB Athan Kaliakmanis (emergency 3rd quarterback)
- WR Luke McCaffrey
- CB Isaac Yiadom
- DT Ricky Barber Jr.
- G Tanoa Togiai
Luvu is out this week with a groin injury, while Okonkwo is dealing with a hamstring injury. Both were injured in last week's opener at Philadelphia.
McCaffrey is inactive for the second consecutive week. Last week, McCaffrey and Treylon Burks were inactive, but the Commanders will keep six receivers active for today's game in Dallas.
Barber’s inclusion on this list means two things: Starting defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw is active and will play. Kinlaw was listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report with a back injury. He missed Thursday’s practice. Barber, who made the 53-man roster
out of training camp, was released last week to make room for Yiadom, who was signed from the practice squad. The Commanders then re-signed Barber to the practice squad. On Saturday, Washington announced it was elevating Barber from the practice squad.
