The Washington Commanders returned from their bye week and made a statement. Sure, it was at the expense of an incredibly beat-up Philadelphia Eagles team, but a win over a division rival is always a good day. Plus, Washington isn't exactly free of its own injury issues.
With that win, the Commanders are now 2-4-1 (1-2-1 in the NFC East) and sit in third place in the division. If the Dallas Cowboys keep playing as they did against the Arizona Cardinals this week, and the Commanders keep winning, it won’t be long before they move up again.
