The Washington Commanders are on the road for their final preseason game on Friday, as they make the short trip to Baltimore to face the Ravens. Washington actually arrived in the Baltimore area earlier this week, as the two teams held a joint practice on Wednesday.
The joint practice didn’t go well for the Commanders, but Washington was without three of its original starting offensive linemen. Head coach Dan Quinn opted to go with some younger players against the Ravens, and they struggled. It’s unlikely that the Commanders play any of their starters in the preseason finale. The game gives players on the roster bubble one last chance to make an impression before Sunday, when all 32 NFL teams must trim their rosters from 90 to 53 players.
