The Washington Commanders had scouts at three notable college football games during the Week 6 slate, evaluating talent across the SEC and Big Ten as the NFL draft scouting process continued. Washington was represented at Texas A&M vs. Missouri, USC vs. Penn State and UCLA vs. Oregon, per NBC Sports Philadelphia analyst, Ryan Fowler

• Texas A&M-Mizzou: MIA (x2), WSH, ARI, BUF, LV
• Iowa State-BYU: LAC (x2), NYG, MIN, NYG, TB, JAX
• USC-Penn State: PIT (x2), CAR (x2), WSH, SF, KC, CHI, IND, NYG, NYJ, ARI, LAC
• LSU-Kentucky: PHI, DAL, SF, NYG, MIN, NE, CHI, IND,…
At Texas A&M vs. Missouri, the commanders joined scouts from Miami, Arizona, Buffalo, and Las Vegas to watch the Tigers secure a convincing 27-6 win
over the Aggies. Missouri running back Jamal Roberts delivered a standout performance from the backfield, rushing for 222 yards on 34 carries and scoring two touchdowns. His production powered Missouri’s offense, while Texas A&M managed just 29 rushing yards.
Washington also attended USC vs. Penn State, a high-profile Big Ten matchup that drew scouts from 11 other NFL teams, including Pittsburgh, Carolina, San Francisco, Kansas City, Chicago, Indianapolis, the New York Giants and Jets, Arizona, and the Los Angeles Chargers. The Trojans won 31-23, led by quarterback Jayden Maiava, who threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns, completing 21-of-33 passes, while wide receiver Trent Mosley caught nine passes for 111 yards and a touchdown. Penn State quarterback Rocco Becht threw for 289 yards and a touchdown.
The Commanders’ third and final scouting stop of the weekend was UCLA vs. Oregon, one of the weekend’s most heavily scouted games, with representatives from 19 NFL teams watching UCLA edge Oregon 17-15. Bruins running back Wayne Knight was a key contributor, finishing with 103 rushing yards on 22 carries and scoring on both the ground and through the air. Oregon receiver Dakorien Moore led the Ducks with 77 receiving yards, while quarterback Brock Thomas threw for 156 yards and a touchdown.
While scouting attendance doesn’t confirm which individual players Washington targeted, the three stops show a broad evaluation approach across multiple conferences and positions. Washington will likely target receivers, as Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs are both veterans late in their careers, while quarterback Jayden Daniels, running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt and wide receiver Antonio Williams represent the Commanders’ youth on offense.
