The Washington Commanders cannot catch a break when it comes to injuries. With a 14-7 lead against the Seattle Seahawks late in the second quarter, Commanders linebacker Leo Chenal went down with an injury. He had to be taken off the field on a cart and has now been ruled out with a neck injury.
This is Chenal’s first season with Washington after spending the past four years with the Kansas City Chiefs. Chenal was a huge part of the Commanders’ defense in last week’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys, finishing with 12 total tackles, including six solo tackles.
The fifth-year pro from Wisconsin had three tackles in the first half against the Seahawks.
