Kyle Field will have a new midfield logo for the 2026 college football season, with the Texas A&M football program announcing the new design Wednesday.
They have gone much simpler, with the new midfield logo featuring a simple maroon TAM with a white outline and no bevel. The previous 50-yard design featured the Lone Star logo.
That is the only change they are making to Kyle Field, with both end zones still painted maroon and reading "TEXAS A&M" in white. The sidelines will continue to feature "G.R.I.N.D" and "HOME OF THE 12TH MAN" on each side.
The announcement comes as the Aggies prepare for their season opener against the Missouri State Bears on Saturday at Kyle Field in College Station. The game is set to start at 6 p.m. CT and will be on ESPN.
Head coach Mike Elko and Texas A&M are entering the season looking to not just make it back to the College Football Playoff after making their first appearance last season, but to win it all.
"We understand in this building that we have an opportunity to go compete for this thing… Now you have to go do it. This season is a long journey," Elko said in a recent interview. "We're excited that we have a team that we feel like can go compete for an opportunity to win the whole thing."
