Where Texas A&M's 10 NFL draft picks stand entering 2026 season

Coming off the heels of Texas A&M's first College Football Playoff appearance, the Aggie football program had a record-tying 10 players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Seven of those 10 players went within the first three rounds, and there was a good mix of offensive and defensive players selected, highlighting the balance of the 2025 team during its historic season. Another impressive note is that all 10 players made their teams'initial 53-man rosters and survived the roster churn that usually happens as teams begin manipulating their rosters ahead of the regular season.

The biggest training camp and preseason standout was wide receiver KC Concepcion, who received plenty of praise from the Cleveland Browns coaching staff, which made it known

that it plans to get the ball into his hands as much as possible. He was also one of the highest-rated rookies coming out of the preseason, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF). Another player who had a strong start was offensive lineman Chase Bisontis, who played well in the first two games in the preseason before a knee injury sidelined him for the 2026.

Overall, this is another testament to the development happening at Texas A&M and the NFL-ready talent coming out of the program. Below is a look at all 10 drafted players and where they stand heading into the 2026 NFL season:

KC Concepcion – Cleveland Browns

Draft: Round 1, No. 24 overall | Status: Active | Role: Immediate offensive contributor

Concepcion has been one of the biggest standouts from Texas A&M's draft class. The first-round pick impressed throughout training camp and earned a prominent role in Cleveland's offense entering his rookie season. The Browns have moved Concepcion around the formation and also utilized his ability as a returner, giving him multiple ways to get the ball in his hands. After a strong preseason, Concepcion looks positioned to make an immediate impact as a rookie.

Chase Bisontis – Arizona Cardinals

Draft: Round 2, No. 34 overall | Status: Injured reserve | Role: Season-ending injury

Bisontis was competing for Arizona's starting right guard job before suffering a knee injury during the preseason. The second-round pick had put together a promising start to his first NFL training camp before the injury ended his rookie season. While Bisontis won't get the opportunity to contribute in 2026, the fact that he was already competing for a starting job was an encouraging sign before the injury.

Cashius Howell – Cincinnati Bengals

Draft: Round 2, No. 41 overall | Status: Active | Role: Pass-rush rotation

Howell was one of the biggest risers among the former Aggies during training camp. The Bengals experimented with him at linebacker in certain situations, but his primary role remains getting after the quarterback. Howell consistently flashed as a pass rusher throughout camp and earned praise from teammates and Bengals personnel. He enters his rookie season with an opportunity to work his way into Cincinnati's defensive line rotation.

Nate Boerkircher – Jacksonville Jaguars

Draft: Round 2, No. 56 overall | Status: Active | Role: Tight end rotation

Boerkircher made Jacksonville's initial 53-man roster and enters the season behind veteran Brenton Strange at tight end. The Jaguars have multiple tight ends on the roster and have shown interest in using multiple-tight-end formations, which could give Boerkircher an avenue to early playing time. His blocking ability could also help him earn snaps on offense and special teams during his rookie season.

Tyler Onyedim – Denver Broncos

Draft: Round 3, No. 66 overall | Status: Active | Role: Defensive line depth

Onyedim successfully earned a spot on Denver's initial 53-man roster after being selected early in the third round. The former Aggie enters his rookie season as depth along a veteran Broncos defensive line rather than being asked to immediately step into a starting role. His first season should provide an opportunity to work into the defensive line rotation while continuing his development.

Albert Regis – Jacksonville Jaguars

Draft: Round 3, No. 81 overall | Status: Active | Role: Reserve defensive tackle

Regis joins fellow Aggie Nate Boerkircher on Jacksonville's 53-man roster after showing flashes during the preseason. The third-round pick recorded a sack against New Orleans and did enough throughout the summer to secure a spot in the Jaguars' defensive tackle room. Regis enters Week 1 as a reserve but should have an opportunity to work into Jacksonville's defensive line rotation.

Trey Zuhn III – Las Vegas Raiders

Draft: Round 3, No. 91 overall | Status: Active | Role: Versatile reserve offensive lineman

Zuhn's versatility helped him establish a role during his first NFL training camp. The Raiders worked the former Texas A&M offensive lineman at multiple positions, including center, guard and right tackle. He enters the regular season as a reserve offensive lineman, with his ability to play multiple positions giving Las Vegas flexibility along the offensive front.

Will Lee III – Carolina Panthers

Draft: Round 4, No. 129 overall | Status: Active | Role: Competing for defensive snaps at cornerback

Lee made a strong impression during his first NFL summer and spent significant time working at outside cornerback with Carolina's first-team defense during training camp. The fourth-round pick also contributed during the preseason and put himself in position to compete for meaningful defensive snaps earlier than his draft position might suggest. Lee could also contribute on special teams as he establishes his role with the Panthers.

Dametrious Crownover – New England Patriots

Draft: Round 6, No. 196 overall | Status: Active | Role: Reserve offensive tackle

Crownover played in all three of New England's preseason games and earned a place on the Patriots' initial 53-man roster. Making the team is an encouraging first step for the sixth-round pick, who enters the season as a developmental reserve behind New England's more established offensive tackles. Crownover can now continue developing while providing the Patriots with additional depth along the offensive line.

Ar'maj Reed-Adams – Buffalo Bills

Draft: Round 7, No. 241 overall | Status: Active | Role: Reserve interior offensive lineman

Reed-Adams was the final Aggie selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, but the seventh-round pick did enough during his first NFL summer to earn a spot on Buffalo's initial 53-man roster. He enters the season as a reserve interior offensive lineman, and simply surviving final cuts as the No. 241 overall selection represents a strong first step in his professional career.
