No. 12 Texas A&M wraps up its two-match SEC road trip Sunday afternoon with an Arkansas game at Barnhill Arena.
The Aggies enter the match 10-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play after suffering afive-set loss at Oklahoma on Wednesday. A&M won the first and third sets but couldn't finish the Sooners, snapping its six-match winning streak. Kyndal Stowers led the Aggies with 20 kills, while Taryn Morris, Megan Fitch and Lolufe Adedeji helped A&M finish with 13 blocks.
Arkansas is 8-7 overall and still searching for its first SEC victory after opening conference play 0-4. However, the Razorbacks showed Friday that their record can be misleading. They took the opening set from No. 9 Texas, hit .281 and finished with a 12-3 advantage in blocks before
losing in four sets.
Texas A&M leads the all-time series 11-9, but the teams have split their 10 meetings in Fayetteville. The Aggieswon the last two matchups at Reed Arena, while Arkansas has taken the last two played at Barnhill Arena.
