The Texas A&M Aggies and South Carolina Gamecocks will have an unusual start time on Saturday, Nov. 7, when they meet in Columbia, South Carolina.
The SEC announced the start time and TV channel for the game on Monday and revealed that the game is set to kick off at 2 p.m. CT and air on ESPN. The Aggies will have extra time to prepare for the game, being on a bye this weekend as they look to get their season back on track with just four more regular-season games to play.
Texas A&M lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide 31-20 on Saturday as the offense once again struggled to get going. The Aggies are now 4-4 overall and 1-4 in SEC play, including a 0-3 record away from Kyle Field.
Meanwhile, South Carolina is playing its best football of the season.
The Gamecocks beat the Tennessee Volunteers 27-24 on Saturday, picking up their second straight win over a ranked opponent and improving to 4-3 and 2-3 in conference play.
They will have another tough game this weekend, hitting the road to play the Oklahoma Sooners. That game is set to start at 3:15 p.m. CT and will be on the SEC Network.
Texas A&M leads the all-time series 10-2 against South Carolina, but they have split the past four meetings. The Aggies have lost the last two meetings in Columbia, but are 4-2 overall on the road against the Gamecocks.
