No. 19 Texas A&M volleyball delivered one of its most productive offensive performances in program history during Sunday's four-set victory over Auburn at Reed Arena.
The Aggies finished with 73 kills, the second-most in a four-set match in school history and their highest total in that format since 2012. The performance helped Texas A&M snap a three-match losing streak
and improve to 11-8 overall and 4-3 in SEC play.Four Aggies reached double-digit kills, with Kyndal Stowers leading the way with 21. Natalie Ring followed with 17, while Kaia Castle contributed 12 and Taryn Morris added 11.
The balanced production was a welcome development for an offense that struggled with consistency during losses to Oklahoma, Arkansas and Florida. Against Auburn,
Texas A&M found contributions throughout its lineup rather than relying on one or two attackers to carry the scoring load.
Eliza Sharp added seven kills, while Kirra Musgrove finished with four and Gabi Rodriguez contributed one. Together, the seven players accounted for all 73 kills. The offensive performance also came at an important point in the SEC schedule. Texas A&M entered Sunday needing a response after dropping three consecutive conference matches, including a four-set loss to No. 7 Florida two days earlier.
The Aggies will now try to carry that momentum into a challenging road trip. Texas A&M travels to Georgia on Friday before facing No. 4 Kentucky on Sunday. Maintaining the offensive balance displayed against Auburn could be critical as the Aggies look to climb the SEC standings during the second half of conference play.
