A former Texas A&M wide receiver is making waves with his elite effort in the Cleveland Browns' 27-24 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.
KC Concepcion caught five passes for a season-high 64 yards, but his physical blocking opened a lane for Jaleel McLaughlin to score a game-tying touchdown in the second quarter. His effort and determination to win are qualities Aggie fans fell in love with last season.
After a breakout season with Texas A&M in 2025, the Browns selected Concepcion with the No. 24 pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. The rookie is already impressing with his electric speed, elite blocking ability and determination to succeed at the professional level.

Concepcion
began his collegiate career with NC State in 2023, where he was named ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year and was a finalist for the Shaun Alexander National Freshman of the Year Award. He was banged up during his sophomore season, but was still able to finish his time with the Wolfpack with 124 receptions, 1,299 receiving yards and 16 receiving touchdowns.
He transferred to Texas A&M for his junior year, where he hauled in 61 receptions, 919 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns, while also notching two punt-return scores. Concepcion was named a First-Team AP All-American and First-Team All-SEC and All-Purpose.
Despite some doubts about the security of the quarterback position, the Browns have been extremely impressive due to gritty performances from guys like Concepcion and McLaughlin. DeShaun Watson has also performed well, throwing for 855 yards and six touchdowns through the first four games.
