Texas A&M football has plummeted out of the AP Poll Top 25 after its embarrassing 35-6 loss to the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Saturday night.
Death Valley is dubbed the place where dreams come to die. That could be the case for the Aggies' hopes of reaching this year's College Football Playoff. It is hard to find positives to take away from Texas A&M's trip to Tiger Stadium, as Mike Elko's squad produced just 197 yards of offense while allowing LSU 506 yards of offense. As expected, the Aggies are no longer ranked in the AP Poll, following back-to-back poor performances against conference opponents.
Meanwhile, the Florida Gators made the biggest jump in the polls, moving to No. 8 after their beat-down of Ole Miss in the Swamp on
Saturday. Kentucky makes its first appearance in the top 25 since 2023, ranked at No. 24, ahead of No. 25 Missouri.
