Texas A&M (4-3, 1-3 SEC) will return to conference play Saturday when it travels to face Alabama (5-2, 3-2) at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The Aggies handled their final nonconference game by defeating The Citadel 41-0
at Kyle Field. A&M finished with 501 total yards, rushed for 264 and recorded its second shutout of the season. KJ Edwards led the running game with 111 yards, while Jamarion Morrow scored three touchdowns.Alabama enters the matchup on a two-game losing streak after falling 20-17 against Georgia and 26-10 at Tennessee. The Crimson Tide managed only 201 yards against the Volunteers and committed four turnovers. Keelon Russell passed for 147 yards with two interceptions and lost a fumble.
The Aggies should feel better after their performance
against The Citadel, but beating an FCS opponent does not erase what happened during their first four SEC games. A&M has scored only two offensive touchdowns across its three conference losses and must prove it can produce on the road.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 24. ABC will televise the game nationally.

Texas A&M vs Alabama prediction, pick:
Texas A&M did what it was supposed to do against The Citadel. The Aggies established the running game, avoided turnovers and gave their younger players valuable snaps. However, nothing that happened Saturday proved the offense has solved the problems that showed up against Kentucky, LSU and Missouri.
Alabama is also searching for answers after consecutive losses. The Crimson Tide turned the ball over four times and failed to score after halftime against Tennessee. A&M’s defense can keep it close if it pressures Russell and avoids giving Alabama short fields.
The Aggies need to lean on Edwards, Morrow and Rueben Owens II instead of asking Reed to carry the offense. I think A&M will play better than in its first two road games, but trusting this offense to score enough points at Bryant-Denny Stadium is difficult. Alabama rebounds at home, though the Aggies keep the final margin below the early spread.
Prediction: Alabama 24, Texas A&M 13
