Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Terry Bussey will miss the rest of the season with an injury, according to On3's Jaxson Callaway.

Bussey was injured on the opening kickoff of Texas A&M's game against the Kentucky Wildcats. He was unable to put any weight on his leg and was carted off the field.

He had a strong start to his junior year before suffering the season-ending injury, starting all three games and catching seven passes for 92 yards, ranking third on the team in both categories. He also carried the ball four times for 10 yards and a touchdown.

Bussey was also Texas A&M's primary punt and kick returner, averaging 16.0 yards on two punt returns and 14.3 yards on three kickoff returns. Mario Craver is the only other Aggie to return a punt this

year, averaging 6.8 yards on four attempts.

Texas A&M (2-1, 0-1 SEC) will play the LSU Tigers (2-1, 0-1 SEC) in their first road game of the season on Saturday. The game is set to start at 6:30 p.m. CT and will air on ABC.
