It’s that time of year, but things were uncomfortably spooky for the Cincinnati Bengals on the injury report early on the path to Week 5.
Things turned for the better Thursday, though, as the second Bengals injury report of the week saw several players upgraded.
On that report, the Bengals upgraded the following players to “limited” practice:
- LB Swayze Bozeman
- WR Ja'Marr Chase
- S Bryan Cook
- DL B.J. Hill
Jordan Battle and Barrert Carter for the defense got upgraded to “full,” as did rookie wideout Colbie Young.
So far, the big “DNP” names for the Bengals are Tee Higgins, Jonathan Allen and Kyle Dugger. Higgins is working back from the injury suffered last week and an unknown, while Dugger was already expected to miss Week 5. Allen was a rest day.
All things considered, a brutal-looking injury report sees the
Bengals getting much stronger at wideout, while other guys who needed an extra day are now back and working normal.
