Cincinnati Bengals fans aren't the only ones noticing big rises for lesser-known wideouts in training camp this summer.
Count Ja’Marr Chase among those keeping a close eye on Colbie Young and Dohnte Meyers, too.
During an appearance on Kay Adams’ show in Cincinnati this week, Chase name-dropped Young, Meyers and cornerback DJ Turner as the three players who have impressed him in training camp.
Turner? Expected. But talk about a boon for Young and Meyers, right?
The rookie Young, a fourth-round pick this year, keeps making huge plays in camp, so it’s deserved praise. He’s looking like a threat to steal some snaps, perhaps even over Andrei Iosivas.
Meyers, who went undrafted in 2023 and made some noise in the CFL before signing with the Bengals this
past January, has caught the attention of those attending camp, too.
So, not too surprising for Bengals fans who pay close attention. But considering Chase would know a thing or two about good wideout play, the fact these two younger guys came to mind is a pretty big endorsement as their strong summers continue.
