The Cincinnati Bengals won’t have rookie receiver Colbie Young on the field in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Whether Young misses more time than that remains to be seen.
Speaking with reporters on Monday after the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that Young is the only injured player he can already rule out this week.
Young had a chance to step up big against the Steelers with Andrei Iosivas going to injured reserve, but suffered an injury of his own on what appeared to be a horse-collar tackle.
Taylor did say the hope remains that it’s not a long-term injury for Young.
Otherwise, the Bengals will monitor safeties Bryan Cook and Kyle Dugger as the main injury concerns before prep for Week 4 really gets
going.
