As expected, the Cincinnati Bengals have some major questions on the final injury report before Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins.
It’s mostly about the wide receiver position, too, with the Bengals listing the following players as questionable on the final injury report:
- Ja’Marr Chase
- Tee Higgins
- Bryan Cook
- Swayze Bozeman
- Colbie Young
Also as expected, safety Kyle Dugger has been completely ruled out.
The Bengals cautioned on Friday that Ja’Marr Chase hadn’t fully cleared concussion protocol yet. But that’s something that can still happen over the weekend, though its impact on his actual snap counts if he’s active will be interesting.
Tee Higgins seemed like a longer shot to play based on his mid-week work, so a questionable tag is actually a little better than expected.
Of note, starting safety Bryan Cook could
also miss the game after missing the loss last week. Given the struggles of Jordan Battle and the overall defense, he’s another x-factor to know on the inactives list Sunday morning.
