Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is one of the better MVP projections going into the regular season.
Not hard to see why. He’s healthy and surrounded not just by Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, but bonuses like the same starting five offensive linemen for the first time in his career. Also, for the first time in his career, his front office is all-in through modern means.
Hence, someone like Kay Adams predicting Burrow will take home the award.
“I think Joe Burrow wins MVP. He knows it’s go-time,” Adams said. “He’s measured that way. He’s dialed in. Sort of on another level. He always is, but there’s more balance to it. He talked to me about mind, body, and soul. He’s never talked like that to me before.”
Adams, a fan favorite to the point
of being “Ruler of the Jungle” at Paycor Stadium years ago, will find plenty of fans happy about this one.
And as always, Bengals fans know the drill: If Burrow is healthy, which is always the big question, the Bengals are probably contending in a big way if he’s in the MVP race.
