Like it or not, Trey Hendrickson remains a key focal point for Cincinnati Bengals fans in 2026.
Hendrickson was one of the top free-agency signings in franchise history, helped lead a memorable Super Bowl run, then rolled several years of distraction-filled contract talks into leaving for an AFC North rival.
That out of the way, it’s October and Hendrickson is already set to miss his first game
with the Baltimore Ravens.Hendrickson will miss the Ravens’ Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans due to a finger injury that required surgery.
After signing a four-year, $112 million contract, Hendrickson has been the best pass-rusher in Baltimore with a 17.6% pressure rate, a top-10 number.
Bengals fans are just a few weeks removed from seeing Hendrickson,
if able, during a Week 7 game in Baltimore. Then, the next rematch is at the end of December in a Week 17 matchup in Cincinnati.
Until those dates, the Bengals will keep banking on the defensive rebuild around Dexter Lawrence in the middle, with free-agent add Boye Mafe and upstarts like Shemar Stewart on the edges.
