Slight concerns over DJ Turner being added to the Cincinnati Bengals injury report before Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars can ease.
When the Bengals issued the final injury report on Friday, Turner wasn’t listed.
The Bengals listed the following players as questionable, though:
- LB Swayze Bozeman
- S Bryan Cook
- DL B.J. Hill
- G Dalton Risner
Both safety Kyle Dugger and wideout Colbie Young were declared out.
Turner, Dalton Risner, Jonathan Allen and Bryan Cook were all working in some capacity at the final practice of the week, with BJ Hill even starting to ramp up from an Achilles injury that cost him last week’s game.
We’ll see if the questionable players end up going, but keep in mind that the “probable” tag is gone, so a questionable tag doesn’t necessarily mean 50-50 anymore. Fans saw that with Joe
Burrow’s back tightness a few weeks ago.
Still, losing a starting guard would be problematic, and Bryan Cook missing the game would leave safety in a really bad spot.
