Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Shemar Stewart headline the list of minor injury concerns for the Cincinnati Bengals ahead of the serious Week 1 prep.
To start the week, though, it’s all green lights for those names.
According to various reports from the first session of the week, Chase, Higgins and Stewart were doing normal work.
Bengals
head coach Zac Taylor told media that everything seems to be on track."All three look good today, so we'll wait to release injury reports on Wednesday,” Taylor said, according to Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “But I was encouraged by the progress all three of those guys have made."
Chase and Higgins were never major concerns, just small things that held them out from full-go work before the serious stuff
this week.
Stewart, though, appeared to suffer a serious injury, avoided that, then opened up about it recently. He’s now been on a quick pace back, to the point of skipping an injured reserve trip.
Official injury reports for Week 1 don’t drop until mid-week, but for the Bengals, there’s no reason to expect anything major.
