The Cincinnati Bengals’ receiving tandem is in strong company, even with two other NFL pairs setting a higher yardage pace.
USA TODAY's Ryan Wood shared a comparison Monday featuring Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins alongside Green Bay’s Christian Watson and Matthew Golden and Dallas’ CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
Top WR duos in NFL this season:
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) October 12, 2026
GB Christian Watson/Matthew Golden: 50 catches, 871 yards, 8 TDs.
DAL Ceedee Lamb/George Pickins: 66 catches, 862 yards, 5 TDs.
CIN Ja’Marr Chase/Tee Higgins: 54 catches, 712 yards, 5 TDs.#Packers tandem has been THAT good
Chase and Higgins had combined for 54 catches, 712 receiving yards and five touchdowns in the figures Wood cited.
Watson and Golden totaled 50 receptions, 871 yards and eight touchdowns.
Lamb and Pickens had 66 catches, 862 yards and five scores.
Cincinnati’s pair, therefore, had four more receptions than Green Bay’s tandem, while matching the Dallas duo’s touchdown total on 12 fewer catches.
The yardage gap is the obvious difference, with Chase and Higgins trailing Watson and Golden by 159 yards and Lamb and Pickens by 150.
And Green Bay’s pair averaged approximately 17.4 yards per reception, compared with 13.2 for Cincinnati and 13.1 for Dallas, based on those totals.
The comparison captures a neat snapshot of Cincinnati's receiving production, surfacing good news that Chase and Higgins haven't faded away.
