The Cincinnati Bengals may have a bigger role in mind for tight end Erick All Jr. following Tanner Hudson's season-ending pectoral injury.
All ran routes typically reserved for Hudson and Mike Gesicki during Monday's practice, per Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com.
It was on the mind of Bengals tight ends coach James Casey, who put forward a glowing view of the third-year tight end.
"It's stuff he wouldn't do in a normal week, but he looked great doing it," Casey said.
Casey also lauded All's athleticism and reliable hands, suggesting the Bengals have barely tapped into his potential as a receiver and blocker.
All, a fourth-round selection in the 2024 NFL draft, missed the entire 2025 season with an ACL injury. He's caught five of six targets for 30 yards
across 103 offensive snaps this season.
His opportunities could increase a lot with Hudson sidelined, although Bengals head coach Zac Taylor indicated the team plans to replace Hudson's production by committee.
Gesicki and wide receiver Colbie Young are among the players who could help fill the void.
Regardless, Casey believes All is ready to make a bigger impact, expressing his expectation that the former Michigan standout will "take off the rest of the year."
Cincinnati can certainly showcase All's versatility against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25.
