Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow looks good as training camp gets underway, even if Dexter Lawrence’s line is giving him more problems than usual.
Burrow says he feels good, too.
Briefly asked about the toe injury from last season, Burrow told CLNS Media’s Mike Petraglia and others that the former issue “feels great” so far in camp.
Last year, Burrow charged back faster than anticipated from the early turf toe injury, wearing protective devices in his cleat in the process.
Back in May, Burrow told reporters that he would experiment with the carbon fiber plate and other options to keep the extra protection on the surgically repaired issue.
No word on what Burrow ultimately decided, but the fact he’s feeling good shouldn’t go overlooked, given
the last few years.
