The Cincinnati Bengals had the Joe Burrow injury situation floating over Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.
Not that Burrow was a threat to be inactive, but a Bengals roster move a day before the game suggested they wanted to take every precaution before the pivotal AFC matchup.
Hours before kickoff the Bengals announced the following inactives:
- WR Ke'Shawn Williams
- CB Josh Newton
- OT Myles Hinton
- C Connor Lew
- DL BJ Hill
- DT Landon Robinson
- QB Josh Johnson
Nothing too shocking for the Bengals here. Ke'Shawn Williams was inactive last week, leaving return duties to the likes of Dohnte Meyers.
Of note, former first-round pick Shemar Stewart is now off the inactives list after coming all the way back from his scary-looking injury suffered during training camp.
