Injury watch for the Cincinnati Bengals just got a little more interesting before the Week 1 encounter with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After a clean injury report to start the week, the Bengals added star cornerback DJ Turner to the report as “limited” with a “hamstring” designation.
As a disclaimer, Jonathan Allen had a “Rest” day on the report. So did BJ Hill. Shemar Stewart, recovering from a knee injury, went “full” on Wednesday, but “limited” on Thursday.
It doesn’t seem serious for Turner. But hamstring injuries can be tricky and the Bengals went out of their way to not designate it as a veteran rest day.
And just like that, Friday’s final injury report provided by the Bengals just got quite a bit more interesting.
