Exiting the win over the Miami Dolphins and heading for the bye, it seems like all is mostly well for the Cincinnati Bengals on the injury front.
Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, for example, appear to be just fine.
Speaking with reporters to start the bye week, though, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor did reveal that linebacker Swayze Bozeman will head to injured reserve after suffering a broken forearm.
Adding to that, Taylor revealed that tight end Tanner Hudson suffered a pec injury on a special teams play. Further evaluation there will offer more details soon.
Then there’s safety Kyle Dugger, who will remain week-to-week with his injury.
The Bengals still have Joe Giles-Harris and Oren Burks at linebacker behind Barrett Carter and Demetrius Knight,
but it will crunch the special teams unit a bit.
Tight end is a little more concerning. If Hudson misses time, that leaves Jack Endries as the primary depth behind Drew Sample, Mike Gesicki and Erick All.
If nothing else, the Bengals might make a roster move or two with the practice squad to compensate for these possible issues during the break.
