Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers not named Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins tend to have a tough time standing out.
Somebody didn’t tell rookie Colbie Young that, though.
Young had a monster day at Bengals training camp to start the week. At one point, he soared over a veteran defensive back like Kyle Dugger for a catch down the sideline, per WLWT’s Charlie Clifford.
That was one of many big plays for Young on the day, with CLNS Media’s Mike Petraglia catching up with him after practice:

Some onlookers seemed surprised the Bengals
drafted Young in the fourth round this year. But his Tee Higgins-like game was hard to ignore.
So, too, was the third wideout depth questions. Young is putting up a fight with Andrei Iosivas for looks at this point on a chart that also has interesting names like Mitch Tinsley, Charlie Jones and Kendric Pryor.
If Young can keep his current pace, though, he’s going to really force the conversation about whether he’ll get snaps in the base offense by Week 1.
