Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase fought through frustration to help his team escape the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Along the way, Chase caught 11 passes for 141 yards and one score, second only to Tee Higgins (10 catches, 155 yards, two scores) during the 43-36 overtime win.
Chase also had to deal with a trio of interceptions by quarterback Joe Burrow, one of which probably should’ve been a second touchdown catch for him, were it not underthrown.
As WLWT’s Charlie Clifford pointed out, Chase had a little event on the sidelines around that time during the game:

All ended up well in an ugly win, but after the game, Chase once again hit his “ask Zac” response about slow starts to games, courtesy of David Wysong of the Cincinnati Enquirer:

Before anyone goes wild on this one, Chase has dropped the “ask Zac” in past years. The Bengals head coach himself has told reporters he loves that, as he’d rather the players take the heat off themselves for questions like this and instead put it on him.
There’s a Joe Burrow element about this, too. Burrow told reporters after the game that something like Chase’s sideline outburst is a feature, not a bug, which makes sense one week removed from a Chase halftime speech being the thing that turned the game around in Baltimore.
“I like when he gets emotional like that,” Burrow told reporters. “It usually means I need to do a better job of throwing him the ball.”
