The Cincinnati Bengals announced some bad injury news on Monday to start the bye week, then followed it up by signing an outside player to fix the problem.
After announcing that Swayze Bozeman will go to injured reserve, the Bengals signed Jack Kiser on waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
A fourth-round pick in 2025 out of Notre Dame, Kiser joins Joe Giles-Harris and Oren Burks on the depth chart behind starters Barrett Carter and Demetrius Knight.
Kiser played in 14 games as a rookie in 2025 before going to injured reserve with a hamstring injury. The Jaguars then waived him at final cuts and brought him back on the practice squad. The Jaguars had just waived him from the active roster on October 10, exposing him to claims like this.
