The Jacksonville Jaguars dropped a tough road matchup with the Denver Broncos by a score of 20-13.

With the clock having just hit zero, here are our instant takeaways from what took place.
- WR Parker Washington continues to produce at a high level. He's a go-to target, reliable, and generates big plays.
- Trevor Lawrence was 17-of-29 passing for 189 yards with an interception. He and the passing game again were able to generate some chunk plays.
- After a slow start, the Denver passing game ended up picking up steam. Nix averaged 8.6 yards per pass attempt, with two completions of 27 yards and another for 49 yards.
- The Jaguars were able to contain the Broncos' run game, which can often be a key to success,
but Denver's ability to generate explosive plays through the air helped negate the lack of a running game.
- Bhayshul Tuten was again effective. He had 13 carries for 65 yards and a score. He has an impressive ability to make defenders miss.
- The Jaguars' defense also held its own on third downs and in the red zone, but again, too many explosive plays by Denver helped neutralize those aspects of the game. Jacksonville also couldn't get off the field at the end of the game.
- Too many miscues to overcome in this game for the Jaguars.
- A rare missed field goal by Cam Little was a part of the Denver momentum swing.
- After being in control for two-plus quarters, the Jaguars offense ended the game with an interception, missed field goal, and a punt.
- According to PFF's early tracking data, the Jaguars' defense mustered just eight total pressures, two of which were by Antonio Johnson on blitzes.
- Against a very good Denver front, Lawrence was pressured on 35% of his dropbacks. For some context, last week, that would have ranked 19th in the NFL. The difference for Lawrence in this game came down to whether he was kept clean -- in which he was very effective -- or under pressure, where he struggled.
