Friday night's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wraps up the 2026 training camp and preseason schedule for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Next up for GM James Gladstone is roster cutdown day, which is Sunday. By 6:00 PM ET that day, the Jaguars roster must be whittled down to 53 players.
Over the last month of practices and games, several players have given their stock a boost, while a few others went in the opposite direction. Here's a look at who those players are.
Stock up: RB Ameer Abdullah
Abdullah has provided a steady presence out of the backfield this summer, impacting the game both as a ball carrier and as a pass catcher. He also has return experience as well. His play has put him in the mix for a roster spot if the Jaguars choose to keep a fourth running back. With
LeQuint Allen sidelined at the moment, Abdullah could contribute on passing downs.
Stock down: CB Christian Braswell
Braswell's role on defense expanded as the 2025 season went on, to the point that he was seeing regular snaps during the second half of the year. However, up-and-down play in training camp seemingly has his roster spot in jeopardy, with Jabbar Muhammad passing Braswell on the depth chart. In two preseason games, Braswell had allowed 8 completions on 11 targets for 79 yards with no ball production. He did have a better outing against Tampa Bay but was it enough to make the team?
Stock up: G Emmanuel Pregnon
A late riser this training camp, it looked like for much of the summer that Pregnon was going to fill a backup role, but he now appears to be in line to start at left guard in Week 1. Offensive coordinator Grant Udinski recently praised Pregnon for his play.
Stock down: TE Quintin Morris and Hunter Long
From the jump, both were immediately passed by rookie Tanner Koziol on the depth chart. And with one roster spot potentially up for grabs at tight end, neither has been able to stand out and secure that spot. It's possible that the Jaguars keep only three tight ends, which means both Morris and Long would be released.
Stock up: DE BJ Green
Rotational snaps behind Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker were up for grabs this summer, and Green's steadiness in both the run and pass games may have earned him that third spot on the depth chart. He flashed some playmaking potential as well.
