As we continue to take a look back at the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 5 performance against the Philadelphia Eagles, let's highlight some noteworthy snap count figures.
For the most part, when it comes to playing time, there aren't many huge surprises, but each week, particularly early on, there are a few things we can glean.
With help from PFF, here are a few quick notes from the Jaguars' snap count totals from Week 5.
Where was Travis Hunter in Week 5?
Hunter again had a heavy defensive workload, playing all 62 defensive snaps. Unlike last week, Hunter did see some reps on offense, playing six snaps on Sunday. He also had his first reception since Week 1.
Playing time at safety position
With Eric Murray (concussion) sidelined in this game and Caleb Ransaw on IR, the Jaguars turned to Rayuan Lane to start next
to Antonio Johnson. Veteran Kaevon Merriweather filled that third safety role, where he played 21 snaps instead of rookie Jalen Huskey.
Walker Little takes over at left tackle
After Anton Harrison exited the game with a knee injury, the Jaguars turned to Walker Little at left tackle, where he has ample experience. Little would play 31 snaps and was quite good, not allowing a single QB pressure.Harrison's statusfor next week's game is not known at this time.
