Jacksonville Jaguars' kicker Cam Little nearly missed out on breaking his own record for the longest field goal in a regular-season game.

Following a Travis Hunter interception in the red zone, the Jaguars' offense was able to move the ball 28 yards -- with the help of two New England penalties -- putting themselves in Little's range.

With three seconds left and the ball at the Jaguars' 48-yard line -- yes, the opposite side of midfield -- Little came on to attempt a 70-yarder. The snap and hold were good, and the kick was nearly as good as well.

Little had the distance but just missed the attempt to the right.

Little

nailed a 68-yarder against Las Vegas last season, which is the current NFL record for the longest field goal made. He also knocked through a 67-yarder late last season as well.

He did make a 70-yarder during the 2025 preseason.
