Travis Hunter was back on the field for the regular season opener, his first game with the Jacksonville Jaguarssince Week 7 of last season. Let's take a look back at his performance.
The bulk of Hunter's snaps came at cornerback. Over 29 defensive snaps, he was targeted only one time and did allow a reception, but it was for only four yards, according to PFF's early tracking data. He also logged a tackle.
On the offensive side of the ball, Hunter played just four snaps. He had one target on a designed touch near the line of scrimmage that he turned into an eight-yard gain.
Hunter saw snaps both from the slot and out wide while at wide receiver.
The expectation this season is that the bulk of Hunter's snaps will come on defense. He is still going
to play on offense, although what his workload looks like there could ebb and flow week to week based on matchups and in-game situations.
