Adding to the defensive line is reportedly on theJacksonville Jaguars'radar ahead of the NFL trade deadline, and ESPN's Jeremy Fowler highlighted one potential player of interest.
In Fowler's weekly NFL buzz column with Dan Graziano, he pointed out what other reports have echoed, which is that the Jaguars want to address the defensive line. The tackle position has likely become a major priority after DaVon Hamilton's injury, while the edge rusher depth has been in question since the offseason.
From there, Fowler pointed to Eagles' defensive tackle, Moro Ojomo, as perhaps a player of interest for GM James Gladstone. However, the Eagles first have to be willing to part with him.
"The Jaguars have versatile players such as Travon Walker, who can play multiple
spots up front," Fowler wrote. "Eagles defensive tackle Moro Ojomo is a person of interest here, though Philly is inclined to keep and potentially extend him."
Ojomo was a seventh-round pick by the Eagles in 2023 and put together an impressive 2025 season, which included generating 54 QB pressures. As Fowler mentions, he has the versatility to line up in multiple gaps along the defensive front.
Philadelphia is currently 2-6 this season, having lost six consecutive games.
With the trade deadline approaching, we recently took a look at the Jaguars' salary cap situation and their 2027 draft capital, which will be important factors in determining if a deal can be made.
This year's NFL trade deadline is Nov. 10.
