The Jacksonville Jaguars are down another key player on defense.
Playing against the Indianapolis Colts, the Jaguars lost Eric Murray to an elbow injury early in the game.
Then, during a key defensive play, NT DaVon Hamilton went to the ground, clutching his knee. Colts running back Jonathan Taylor was handed the ball in the backfield, but tripped and lost it; UDFA Bryan Thomas Jr. recovered the ball quickly, and it led to a touchdown for Jacksonville. However, it came with what may be a huge price.
Hamilton went down and had to be taken off the field on a cart. He has since been ruled out with a knee injury, though it's not known yet how serious it is. He was reportedly able to walk to the cart, but while supported by Josh Hines-Allen and Arik
Armstead.

Hamilton has been a huge contributor to the success of the Jaguars' run defense. He has been one of the best in the league in run-stop rate, though most of his contributions aren't flashy. He excels at clogging running lanes and occupying blockers, and is an anchor for the defense.
If Hamilton has suffered a serious injury, it will strike a major blow to Jacksonville. Arik Armstead, Ruke Orhorhoro, and Matt Dickerson are the Jaguars' remaining defensive tackles.
